Unsavoury advertising removed from lamp posts

Leaders and activists of the DA rolled up their sleeves to clear the lamp posts and electrical boxes of illegal posters, in Commissioner Street in the Boksburg CBD recently.

According to Marius de Vos, Ward 32 DA branch chairperson, all sorts of illegal adverts and pamphlets were removed.

“The branch has resolved at its AGM in October to not only moan about service delivery matters but to do something practical about it.

“Members of the community, across the racial divide, have also filled out a petition calling on the metro and law enforcement agencies to crack the whip on these bogus doctors offering lethal abortion and penis enlargement procedures in small, filthy, dark rooms around town.

“The DA ward councillor, Johan Hendricks, will submit the petition to the authorities including the metro at the next council meeting.” – @NalediBoksburg
