Mothers blessed with precious gifts on Christmas Day

A total of 19 babies were born on Christmas Day, at Tambo Memorial Hospital.

This is according to the hospital CEO Dr Avis Naidoo.

The first baby to be born at the hospital was Sithembile Ngwenya, at 1.50am.

Following her was Noluthando Jack, who was born at 2.15am, while Ellany Alberts’s son was born at 2.45am.

He was later joined by Thabiso Khaula, who arrived at 4.30am.

According to metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe, the first four babies born on Christmas Day received baby hampers. – @NalediBoksburg
