Cycling to make Farrar Park safer

Farrar Park CPF raised R23 450 (still counting), during their cycle challenge, which took place on Saturday, November 22.

Event-organisers, Lindsay van Staaden and Sharleen Bradford, says that the money will be used to buy high definition infra-red cameras to be set up in the suburb in order to curb crime.

Around 103 cyclists participated in the challenge.

The starting point was at Beit Avenue, Farrar Park, outside the Scouts Hall, and moved towards Fitzpatrick Road (towards the mine) and back towards Beit Avenue. – @NalediBoksburg
