International Men’s Day celebrated in Reiger Park

Hosted by the Gauteng Department of Social Development, hundreds of men from all over the East Rand gathered at the Reiger Park Civic Centre to discuss issues that affect men and boys, all over the world, such as men’s life expectancy, suicide rate, violence, education, health and others. Started in 1999, (IMD) is an annual international event celebrated on November 19. It is an opportunity to encourage men and boys to work together to improve the lives of men and boys globally.
