Time for positive change

It is time again for positive change and for South Africa to heal.

This is according to Paolo Spennato from Boksburg, who has, in the past, been on the forefront of igniting the positive mindset among people, so that they no longer look at the negativities of life, but rather look for solutions and outcomes.

He is, thus, interested to again kickstart the positive campaign, dubbed Operation Heal South Africa, first in Boksburg.

“Positivity is contagious. Once you get a couple of people who become positive by realising that every problem has a solution, then soon it will infect the entire community,” says Spennato.

“Once you get the community to walk in greater love and happiness, then soon it will spread to other towns and cities, infecting the entire country.”

He reckons South Africa has a history of experiencing periods of such positivity and joy, intermingled with cycles of negativity.

“After the release of Nelson Mandela, the country started to heal, but then we had patches of the country going through cycles of depression. In 2010, for example, we had another upsurge of positivity, marked by the Soccer World Cup.

“Unfortunately, since then, we have experienced a downward trend in morale, so the time is ripe in 2014 for people to learn from the past, learn from each other and, thus, grow to become better than what our circumstances dictate.

“Remember, we can all make a change, and the solution lies with the people, thus, the people are what we need to make ‘it’ – the positive vibe – happen. We need to also take responsibility for our actions and correct our own ways to heal our city and the country.”

Even though there are no concrete plans in place on how such positivity will be ignited, Spennato invites anyone with ideas or a project instilling positivity, to give him a call on 061 608 5861.
