According to Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, the incident occurred at approximately 1.45am, while Const David Makung and Const Patrick Maphisa were working nightshift.
“During the early morning hours they were notified by a security company of the activity of suspicious people.
“Upon arrival, they saw two suspects walking on the roof,” says Coetzer.
