According to Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, eight men robbed the Westwood Spar, but were disturbed and fled the scene.
“One of the security guards also fled the scene, with the robbers in their vehicle,” she says.
The Boksburg North detectives arrested the security guard in Kanana Section, Rabie Ridge, on August 23.
