Police officer shot in mouth
Two police officers are in critical condition after being shot during a stop and search on corner Twist and Low road in Marbleton Agricultural Holding, Boksburg at about 10am this morning (July 23).
One of the police officers was apparently shot in the mouth, while the other was shot in the back.
The two are said to be in a stable but critical condition.
According to Dawn Park police spokesperson Charles Tshabalala, the police officers suspected a car and pulled it over.
“There were six unknown men in the vehicle. One of the suspects then shot at the police officers before driving off,” explains Tshabalala.
