The first accident occurred on June 7, at 4.30am, on the R21 South freeway, just past the Griffith Road flyover.
According to Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, a single vehicle collided with the barrier and the driver sustained fatal injuries.
“The case number for this accident is 130-06-2014.”
The second accident occurred on June 24 at about 4am on the N12 West freeway, under the Rondebult Road flyover.
“A single motor vehicle collided with the barrier and the driver sustained fatal injuries. The case number for this accident is 483/06/2014.”
