Family loses everything in fire
A family lost their belongings and their home when a fire broke out at no 20 Delmas Street, Klippoortjie, on Tuesday, June 1.
According to acting Emergency Services (EMS) spokesperson Natasha Belhaj they attended to the incident at 7.30am.
“On our arrival we found a house that was totally engulfed with flames as well as severely damaged by the fire. The roof had already collapsed,” explains Belhaj.
Belhaj says a total amount of 30 000lts of water was used to put out the fire.
“The stations in attendance of the call were Wadeville Fire Pumper and Tanker, Boksburg Tanker and Rescue, and Vosloorus Pumper. Nobody was injured in the fire.”
