Inform SAPS of address change

The Boksburg North SAPS is appealing to members of the community who have laid charges to inform their investigating officer if they are changing address.

According to Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, this is very important for people who have registered a criminal case at the SAPS.

“This especially applies to foreigners in our area’ after a crime has been committed, they relocate and do not inform the SAPS,” she says.

Coetzer says if a suspect emerges in a case, but the complainant cannot be found, the case can be thrown out of court.

“This has happened to a few previous cases,” she adds. – @CarmenBoksburg
