Annual National Fire-Fighting Competition

Fire Marshals and Fire Teams came out in their numbers to take part in the 15th Annual National Fire-Fighting Competition held at the Fire Protection Association of South Africa (FPASA) Fire College in Boksburg on Thursday May 22.

The competition judged the teams and marshals on who extinguished a fire in the quickest and safest manner. Marshals also underwent a theory exam which consisted of office fires, pan liquid fires and a fire hose drill.
