On visiting the same scrapmetal dealer on May 12, W/O Rudie Bezuidenhout, found that the owner has applied for a secondhand dealer licence, but it has not yet been approved.
Bezuidenhout arrested the owner and a case was opened.
He was given a fine and the business was closed until a licence has been issued. All scrap was removed from the premises.
The premises were searched for any other illegal activities, but none was found.
