R543-m outstanding in E-toll fees
Transport minister, Dipuo Peters, recently announced that more than R543-m worth of invoices has been transferred to the Violations Processing Centre (VPC).

According to Peters, this amount also included R32.8-m for postage and printing of invoices and a further R21.9-m for cost of the debt collection process.
Vusi Mona, spokesperson for Sanral, says that Sanral is satisfied with both registrations and payments made by non-registered users.
“We have always trusted that the public will do the right thing and pay.
“This high level of compliance has also meant that we are on track to meet our debt obligations,” he says.
