Roteract celebrates 46 years

Rotary International's youth club, Rotaract, turned 46 years old on Thursday, March 13.

The special day was celebrated by the Boksburg Lake Rotaract Club.

Local Rotaractors were also asked to assist at the recent Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), which were held in Benoni.

RYLA gathers Interactors, who are high school students from Grade Eight to 11, from schools in the region and takes them on a leadership and character-building weekend.

Boksburg Lake Rotary’s Interact Club is based at Boksburg High. This successful school club is managed by Letitia Rajool.

Rotaract encourages anyone between the ages of 18 and 30 to join the Boksburg Lake Rotaract Club.
