He had previous convictions of malicious damage to property from May 2009, and assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm from March 2010.

The accused pleaded guilty, and was found guilty, on February 6, and sentenced on February 28, to R6 000 or six months imprisonment suspended for five years.

The accused pleaded guilty, was found guilty, and sentenced on February 26, to R1 500 or 90 days imprisonment, of which R1 000 or 60 days was suspended for four years.
On December 12, the accused stole children’s clothing, to the value of R239.90, from Ackermans.

He pleaded guilty, was found guilty, and sentenced on February 19, to five years imprisonment.
On November 19, 2013, the accused broke into the home of Thandokszi Jokozela and stole electrical equipment, clothes and cash to the value of R13 000.

* Khanyisani Ayanda Qwaba (24), from Windmill Park, appeared in court on a charge of house break-ing with the intent to steal.
He pleaded guilty, was found guilty, and sentenced on February 18, to eight years imprisonment. The accused was also found unfit to possess a firearm.
On December 29, 2013, the accused broke into a shack and stole electrical equipment and clothes to the value of R11 930.
He had a previous conviction of theft from February, 2012.

* Sergio Nvela (27), from Daveyton, appeared in court on two charges of house break-in with the intent to commit a crime.
He pleaded guilty, was found guilty, and sentenced on February 10 to 15 years for each charge. The magistrate ordered that the sentences run concurrently.
On June 27, 2010, the accused broke into the home of Sifiso Mbele and stole electrical equipment to the value of R23 000.
On October 25, 2012, the accused broke into the home of Zandile Mgoni, and stole a television to the value of R4 000.
He had previous convictions of house break-in from November 2013.
