New school uniform to start the year

Learners from Nageng Primary School and Fortune Kunene Primary School Aftercare Centre in Vosloorus, received school uniforms, toys and educational items on Friday, February 7.

The learners were among the first to benefit from the donation made by Peermont Childrens Trust (PCT), one of Peermont Global’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programmes.

Through the programme, 750 children from schools in disadvantaged areas that fall within Emperors Palace’s catchment area will receive new school uniforms this year.

These areas in Ekurhuleni that will benefit from the programme include Tembisa, Vosloorus and Tsakane.

Seventy-five learners from Nageng Primary School were excited to be given their brand new school uniform.

With the generosity of guests visiting the Garden of Lights at Emperors Palace during December last year, Fortune Kunene Primary School Aftercare Centre recieved a donation of toys and educational items.
