Andre Swiegers to perform in Boksburg
South African singer and songwriter, André Swiegers, will be performing at Lagopuccini Café and Lounge, Clearwater Estate, on Friday, February 28, at 7pm.
He grew up listening to the then popular LM-Radio Hit parade.
Bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Beach Boys inspired his lifelong passion for music.
He bought his first guitar in 1974 and soon learnt chords and began to write songs in English.
A couple of his most popular songs are Blou , Eva, Doncella and Turn on the Light.
On the evening, Swiegers will be performing some of his own popular songs, as well as covers from other popular artists like Cat Stevens.
Doors will be open from 5pm.
