Ward 32 includes Parkrand, Parkdene, Farrar Park, Cinderella, Libradene, Boksburg South, Boksburg East, Boksburg CBD and Plantation surburb.
The Infrastructure Services sector is currently vacant.
The election of the candidate will take place on February 11, at 6pm, at the Boksburg Library Auditorium.
Nominations are currently open and close on February 5.
Nomination forms are available at the Boksburg Library and Boksburg Civic Centre reception.
Both venues are at the corner of Trichardts and Commissioner streets.
Those interested in the above-mentioned position must be 18 years or older, must be a South African citizen and should preferably be on the voter’s roll in Ekurhuleni and a resident in the ward.
A non-resident of the ward, but who is registered on the voter’s roll of Ekurhuleni, may be nominated by a sector, should that person be able to demonstrate in writing that he/she has an interest in that ward.
