Mayweather bings the money
During his second official day of his visit in an attempt to save the sport of boxing in South Africa, Floyd “Money” Mayweather graced Emperors Palace for a gala dinner recently.
The goodwill mission forms part of his “Reawakening of the Giant 2014” tour.
Mayweather, who is widely regarded as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, also visited the newly-named Baby Jake Matlala Boxing Academy gym in Soweto.
The gym, formerly known as the Dube Boxing Club, produced the late Matlala.
His other destinations included Bloemfontein, Cape Town and East London.
