A local ladies prayer group organised for Swan Lake to perform for the residents, as well as treating them to many delicious snacks.

Pepe Struwig, treasurer at the home, says that the event was wonderful and that their residents enjoyed themselves.

“It was very precious, especially at this time of the year as many of our residents don’t have family members,” she says.

Struwig adds that two of the ladies prayer group members have also been visiting the home for the past two months and have been praying for their residents.

“We are grateful that these people take time out of their day to come to our home.”
