Witfield and Vosloorus elderly share Christmas spirit
As part of spreading the Christmas cheer, Witfield Park invited elderly ladies from the Vosloorus Home Care Services centre to share in a day of fun-filled activities
Thirteen ladies from the Vosloorus centre enjoyed singing, dancing and a delicious meal together with residents from Witfield Park.
The Witfield Park choir entertained guests with a few popular sing-alongs accompanied by the piano.
The grannies danced along with the Witfield Park Line Dancers to Miriam Makeba’s Pata-pata.
The eldest dancer in the group is 83-years-old.
The ladies all joined together in one voice to sing Christmas carols and closed in prayer before proceeding with lunch.
