Dawn Park police arrest round up

Two men were arrested by the Dawn Park police for pointing of a firearm and possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

The incident took place at a plot that sells goats and sheep (livestock) on Heidelberg Road, near the Barry Marais intersection.

Dawn Park police spokesperson, W/O Prudence Mvelase, says the two suspects attempted to rob the owner, who managed to escape and find help.

The two suspects appeared at the Vosloorus magistrate court.

In another incident, a woman has been arrested in Vila Liza, for theft, after allegedly orchestrating that her boyfriend be beaten and stabbed by her brothers.

According to Dawn Park police W/O Prudence Mvelase, the woman and her brothers stole R12 000 from the woman’s boyfriend.

No case has been opened against the men.
