This, according to Ekurhuleni metro, is due to planned maintenance work that will take place on the day.
“The metro informs its customers that Eskom will be carrying out maintenance work at the Central Vertical Transformer 3, and as such, power supply to the mentioned areas has to be interrupted,” says metro spokesperson Sam Modiba.
Modiba emphasises that residents should treat all network points as being alive at all times for the duration of the power supply interruption.
