Dog fancy dress in aid of SPCA
Scores of dogs dressed in fancy outfits arrived at Alpha Place Park to participate in the 2013 Dog Fancy Dress competition.
The event was organised by Achievers Dog Training School and was held on Saturday, November 9, in Freeway Park.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes were escorted to the event by their owners who were also dressed for the occasion.
The purpose of the event was to collect dog food for SPCA Nigel. Entry was a bag or canned dog food per dog.
“The day was great, boasting with everything you could want as a dog-lover and the dogs really enjoyed it,” says the event organiser Stephanie Zietsman.
Special prizes were on offer for the best dressed dogs.
