No date set for E-toll
On September 25, President Jacob Zuma passed the e-toll bill, but, the tolls have not yet been implemented.
Vusi Mona, spokesperson for Sanral, says that this is due to the Department of Transport gazetting the latest e-toll tariffs and opening the platform for the public to comment.
“We assume that those comments are still being reviewed,” he says.
Mona adds that tolling will commence when the Minister of Transport makes an announcement.
