Hofmeyr entertains to help the needy

The Clearwater Spa, which will officially be renamed La Como Lifestyle Estate, developed by Dimension Property Group, hosted a fundraising event for the Hanna Charity and Empowerment Foundation on Wednesday, October 2.

Fans gathered for a night of entertainment by icon Steve Hofmeyer.

Hanna Charity and Empowerment Foundation believe in the potential of the poor to effect change in their own lives and in the world.

They offer sponsorship programmes, as well as providing encouragement and support for children, youth and elderly people in need.

Such support comes by way of food, education, healthcare and livelihood programmes.

“The proceeds collected from the event will be donated to the foundation to uplift children in the Elandspoort Community, specifically the orphans that we support who are in such desperate need,” says organiser of the event Nadia van der Merwe.

According to Van der Merwe, the event was a great success and there were also a lot of donations received.
