Thieves flee with R132 00 worth of goods

About R132 000 worth of tools were stolen over the weekend when thieves hit an RDP construction site in Tokyo Sexwale informal settlement.

According to a police report, the stolen construction equipment included generators, batteries, grinders and other construction tools.

Police are searching for eight armed suspects in connection with the theft.

They are described as African males.

The thieves entered the site on Saturday night, August 25, held the security guard at gunpoint and assaulted him before they fled the scene.
